THE MTWD CHRISTMAS DINNER?

How many of you would support the idea of a Christmas Dinner for contributors to this board.
Although I appreciate that many of you are keen to retain your anonymity, many of us are already well known to each other in our true identities, whilst others would be welcome ,whilst still retaining that anonymity, and no pressure to reveal themselves.
It would be an opportunity to discuss the board, and how it might be improved,as well as a chance to meet others face to face and even hopefully to resolve any differences that any of us had with each other.
It's just an idea which hopefully might come to fruition, and I'd like to hear everyone's views, not least those of the moderators.
A central London venue at a cost to suit everyone's pocket would I believe prove most beneficial.
I realise this may not strictly be within the ethos of a message board, never the less I thought it worth a try.
Suggestions at to date and venue would be appreciated.

If the dates suited I'd certainly drop along.

I've a couple of trips to London in the pipeline (and down the pipeline, using the Eurostar).

Well, that's CBG out,and obviously Janet as well.
They could go out for a Kosher Vegan on their own though.

Even "international people of mystery" might put in an appearance if cunningly disguised and if the date works.

Weatherspoons would be my choice too,as it caters for all tastes,is reasonably priced and easily accesible.
It occurs to me that we could incorporate the MTWD awards night into the evening as well, when GED can present the prizes to amongst others 668,The mysterious bird lady of MTWD,and the delectable Daisy winners of our competition prizes.
Presentations too to other categories of posters too,far be it from me to suggest the categories here,a long-service award to our most durable poster perhaps.
LB will be willing to propose a toast to the man without whom none of this would have been possible, and his two little helpers too.
The Baker Street W'spoons is very large and extremely popular, and would be my preferred choice, and a weekday evening at the beginning of the week ,or even at a weekend would be my suggestion.
Silly hats and crackers compulsory.

Well,I suggest we give it a week to see who else is up for it and then try and set a date convenient for most, perhaps readers and lurkers would like to come too.
In which case they'll need to let us know as we'll probably have to come up with an aproximate number beforehand.
Who's willing to co-ordinate the final arrangements?
I,m too far away to become actively involved ,but will certainly do my best to be there.

I'll happily troop along.

I really can't make any suggestions at all regarding dates, as I would be going only if it coincides with a business trip, so all I can do is see what date is picked and see in due course whether I can effect the planning of any trips to suit the date.
